From hand formed square twisted wire – I have made these hoop earrings…unusual and eye-catching in their form. Hanging from the bottom of each hoop is a small hand pierced Hawthorne leaf charm {cut from linen print sterling silver} – clustered with a bevy of small smokey quartz faceted beads…
The hoop earrings have been left matt to emphasise the twist - but the charm is brushed to a gentle shine to catch the light as it moves…then the whole earring has been plated with 18ct gold for a wonderful chalky ochre tone.
The Hoops are 4cm in diameter, and the leaf charm is just shy of 2cm - overall, the earrings hang at approx 6cm in length.
